China Cycling Association Holds an International Symposium on Hot Issues in the Industry

On December 15th, the China Cycling Association held a special seminar (online) on current international hot topics in the industry, including major production area associations such as Tianjin Association, Hebei Association, Shanghai Association, Jiangsu Association, Zhejiang Association, Guangdong Association, Hebei Pingxiang Association, Hebei Guangzong Association, as well as Tianjin Jinlun Group Company, Tianjin Fujida Company, Tianjin Kelin Company, Tangshan Jinhengtong Company, Shanghai Phoenix Company, and Shanghai Halo Company Nearly 80 leaders from over 50 export backbone enterprises, including Xingheng Company, Lanxi Lunfeng Company, and Foshan Suruida Company, attended the meeting. The meeting began with discussions on the international environment, domestic and foreign policies, and focused on international hot topics such as the development trends of mainstream markets in Europe and America in the post pandemic era, the opportunities brought by the implementation of RCEP to explore the ASEAN market, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the international cooperation and exchange work of the industry next year.

Director Wu Zongjiang of the International Cooperation Department of the China Association for the Betterment of Foreign Trade, in conjunction with the "14th Five Year Plan for High Quality Development of Foreign Trade" issued by the Ministry of Commerce, as well as policy documents issued by the General Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs and other departments since the beginning of this year, and representatives of participating enterprises, jointly sorted out the "import and export stability and quality improvement" introduced by the country under the triple pressure of demand contraction, supply shock, and weakening expectations, Many favorable policies and related deployments such as "taking multiple measures to stabilize foreign trade".
Dai Xianjun, Deputy General Manager of Xiesheng Company, focused on introducing the national policies in organizing and exhibiting exhibitions, and proposed the work ideas for next year: firstly, efforts should be made to increase the group efforts of international industry famous exhibitions; Secondly, actively exploring new paths for overseas cooperation in organizing exhibitions; Thirdly, actively strive for various preferential policies for overseas exhibitions to help enterprises expand into the international market.
At the meeting, Yang Yufeng, President of Tianjin Jinlun Group Company, Sheng Kai, General Manager of a branch of Shanghai Phoenix Import and Export Company, Liu Weibing, General Manager of Foshan Suruida Company, Lu Jinlong, Honorary Chairman of Jiangsu Bicycle and Electric Vehicle Association, and Cai Jing, General Manager of International Trade Department of Fujida Company made speeches, sharing their gains and experiences from participating in overseas exhibitions, and exchanging their experiences in collaborating with local shipping companies to solve logistics problems during the epidemic, Suggestions and opinions were put forward to pay special attention to the technological innovation of mid to high end electric powered bicycles, which will become the main growth point in the future European and American markets.
In his concluding speech, Vice Chairman Huo Xiaoyun of the China Association for the Betterment of the Communist Party of China stated that going overseas to expand the single market has become a significant symbol of the industry's going global in the post pandemic period. How to develop the international market with shared destiny is a "Chinese answer sheet" that our industry will submit next year. To this end, Vice Chairman Huo proposed three suggestions: firstly, take a strategic perspective on international market cooperation, enhance the linkage effect of domestic and international markets and resources, turn danger into opportunity, seek benefits and avoid harm, and seek new opportunities in international industry hotspots; The second is to make good use of relevant national policies and expand the international circle of friends. On the basis of signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the China ASEAN Council, the China Association for Economic Cooperation will explore the establishment of a strategic cooperation mechanism with relevant foreign industry associations and institutions; The third is to promote the internationalization process of China's bicycle and electric bicycle industry through high-quality development, benchmark the international market, improve product quality, and achieve the goal of China's bicycle industry going global.
